Dermaplaning:

The aims of this Dermaplaning course are to teach students the protocols to safely and competently perform a Dermaplaning treatment. No prior knowledge surrounding Dermaplaning is assumed; however, it is expected that students will have an understanding of the skin, its anatomy, and the various skin types/conditions common within the industry as a facial qualification is pre-requisite to enrolling on this course. The benefits of dermaplaning, relevant contra-indications and contra-actions, hygiene, health and safety, sharps precautions, consultation, and aftercare will be covered.
Dermaplaning is a hugely versatile treatment, and can be a modality added onto treatments within an existing treatment menu or exist as a standalone treatment. The length of treatment time can be adapted to suit your workplace and clients’ needs. This course equips students with the knowledge of how to safely and competently dermaplane a client’s face, and which treatments this popular modality can be combined with.
