The aims of this Microneedling course are to teach students the protocols to safely and competently perform a Microneedling treatment. No prior knowledge surrounding Microneedling is assumed; however, it is expected that students will have an understanding of the skin, its anatomy, and the various skin types/conditions common within the industry as a facial qualification is pre-requisite to enrolling on this course. The mechanics and benefits of microneedling, relevant contra-indications and contra-actions, hygiene, health and safety, consultation, and aftercare will be covered.
Microneedling, though an advanced and intensive treatment, can be tailored to suit client’s needs, and the length of treatment time can be adapted to suit your workplace and clients’ needs. This course equips students with the knowledge of how to safely and competently needle a client’s face, and which treatments this popular modality can be combined with.
